Event 3: Distillery Day @ Rademon Estate Distillery

Monday 25th July *(Bus Leaves Belfast City Hall - Donegal Sq West - Bus Bays - Across from Patisserie Valerie)

We depart Belfast at 11:15am and follow the Castlereagh Hills, leaving the City and out towards Crossgar. Passing Carry Duff and Saintfield, we arrive at the Rademon Estate in around 45 minutes and are met by a very picturesque and notably historic 17th Century Irish Estate with walled gardens, matured woodland, bustling river and Manor House.

We are met by both Fiona and David Boyd-Armstrong; who, over the past few years, have created one of Irelands most recognisable Gin brands (ShortCross) and whose matured Whiskey is now first whiskey to released in Northern Ireland since the last distilleries shut in the mid-1900s, only Bushmills survived.

The guided tour will take us through the various distilling methods that Fiona and David experiment with, and culmintsate in tasting from the warehouse. We are then treated to some fantastic local food and supplemented by a whiskey tasting to leave you wanting more.

We will depart for Belfast at 3pm
